Meet Dr. Das
Doctor Das received his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 1994 and Master of
Honors in 1996 from the College of Veterinary Medicine Lahore Pakistan. After
practicing veterinary medicine for 8 years Dr Das immigrated to Canada in 2002. From 2002 Till 2006
Dr. Das worked in different positions in small animal hospitals and the Veterinary Emergency and Referral Center in Toronto.
He gained valuable experience in veterinary emergency, specialty, and regular veterinary practices while
working towards his Veterinary Licensure. He obtained his license to practice
Veterinary medicine in North America in 2006. Dr. Das started working as a Veterinarian in, Pembroke Ontario where he practiced preventive, exotic, and emergency veterinary medicine for two years before moving to Regina Saskatchewan for his family. In Regina, he worked as an Emergency Veterinarian for over 6 years at a busy 24 Hrs Emergency Practice and excelled in Emergency / Critical Care Medicine Ultrasonography, Soft tissue, Orthopedics Surgery, and Exotics.
Dr. Das owned a busy small animal hospital in Dryden Ontario from 2015 to 2021.
He practiced small animal preventive medicine and surgery with a special interest in cruciate repair and orthopedic surgery.
Dr Das and his Family chose Sault Ste. Marie Ontario as home and took over the Animal Health Clinic in June 2021, to serve your Fur Babies and their parents.
He has advanced training and many years of working experience which include:
Cranial Cruciate Repair (By four different methods, Conventional method, TPLO, Tite Rope, Swivel Lock method)
Surgical Ophthalmology
Fracture repair
Fracture repair with external fixators
Medial patellar luxation
Abdominal ultrasound
Anesthesia
Dermatology and Imaging
Treating and managing critical patients
Major soft tissue, orthopedic, and routine surgeries
Dr Das brings with him many years of valuable experience, and higher standards of Veterinary Medicine and he believes in the continuation of education, practical as well as online, which provides a veterinarian with a broad perspective approach to Veterinary medicine to help our furry friends.
He attends major international workshops and is a member of the Veterinary Information Network a lifetime member of the International Society of Veterinary Dentistry.
Dr Das is now serving the veterinary needs of the community.
